Nine months- Owen has been unable to pose for any nine month conformation shots yet- he has been far too busy enjoying his "new" older sister. Welcome Roxy!! Roxy came to us from the local shelter and is everything we could have ever hoped for- she is wonderful!! She is a six year old Boxer x Bulldog mix that is built like a tank and is quite capable of putting Owen in his place. Roxy was an owner surrender that was left at the shelter because they had a baby. She spent four dismal months there, presumably because of her age.
Roxy is a really, really great dog- we couldn't have made a better choice. Her patience with Owen is simply amazing and they became fast friends during her first few days here. This is the best thing that could have happened for him and I am delighted that we decided to bring her home. She is deceptively fast, too! They run and play for great stretches several times a day- the lawn is suffering greatly.
I'll get Roxy her own page soon and get back to the business of charting Owen's growth. Promise!
Eight months- 32½", 115 lbs. (wow- an inch and a half in height yet only three pounds in weight this month? I knew the legs had a growth spurt, but boy did he get lanky!)
We stripped out the puppy coat this month- we love him this way. He's so Greyhound-y

This month he seemed to grow mostly in leg length! Showing his silly ears, below... he is seriously full of beans when he has these ears on!
