After years of looking for the right puppy, we finally found him!
Bred by Sam Ewing at Eagle Farms, Steve is a great combination of US and European bloodlines.
We thank Mr. Ewing for allowing us the opportunity to own one of his marvelous hounds.

Steve's Pedigree
While shopping for Steve (a process that took over two years) our only real thought was that we wanted a "big, silly, goofy boy", and this is exactly what we got!
Definitely the typical smooshy male Wolfhound, Steve is still a big baby at two years of age. He snuggles and cuddles much more than either of the girls, and is a definite Huggy Boy. Sometimes he is brave, and sometimes he lets his sisters handle the watchdog duties. But he is always King!
Steve is our only "couch dog"- he walked into our home at 14 weeks of age, headed straight for the sofa..... and has never changed his mind!
Steve's growth.....
Quite the large puppy, Steve is very big boned and solid.
4 months, 24", 64 lbs.
5 months, 27", 82 lbs.
Some months he grew in inches, other months he grew in pounds. At seven months, he grew only a neck!
6 months, 30", 98 lbs.
7 months, 31", 107 lbs.
Steve's puppy coat was being stripped out during the 7-8-9 month photos
8 months, 32", 126 lbs
9 months, 33 1/2", 148 lbs.
His official First Birthday was quite the celebration!
1 year, 35", 172 lbs.
Steve's got a van for his Birthday!
His "stretch" photos always cause comments- he's not too keen on doing it, but those carrots sure are tasty!
